Week long Wen trial by Emily McClure

WEN Hair Cleansing Conditioner is a hair care product with a 5 in 1 formula that of course does multiple things to your hair. It acts as a conditioner, shampoo, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave in conditioner that cleanses your hair without drying it out or stripping it of its natural oils. The ingredients of this product include products from nature that benefit your hair. Not every formula is the same either, so the effects that it has on your hair may vary by the type of hair you have, and the type of Wen product you buy.

A woman named Emily McClure did a trial with a Wen hair care product to see how well it worked. For an entire week, she washed her hair at least once at some point during the day and recorded the results by taking a selfie and uploading her progress onto a website. With each day that she used the Wen hair care product, she noticed some sort of small change. For example: the first time she used the Wen product (http://www.guthy-renker.com/products/beauty/wen-haircare/) was while she was taking a shower. She felt as if she had more hair on her scalp and noticed that she had zero strands of hair falling out.

When she woke up the next day (day 2), she noticed that her hair was oily and greasy which is unusual for her hair. She didn’t have time to wash it that morning, so she did later on. When she did have the time to wash her hair, she had the same feeling as before and her hair gained that same shine.
She woke up the next day with her hair oily as well but not as oily as before. She took care to wash it thoroughly and used some other products with it (heat protectant and texturizer paste). She reported that her hair got flatter throughout the day but that was typical for her type of hair. She noticed that at the end of the day, her hair still had an overall shine and healthy look.

On day 4 she woke up late. She stated that her hair was a ‘grease ball’ and she couldn’t wash it with Wen because she didn’t have enough time, so she used dry shampoo and curling to deal with it until she could take a shower after work.

Day 5, she washed her hair that morning and styled it. Her hair was soft from the Wen product, but she noticed that her waves fell more quickly than they normally do after she curled it; her hair was probably becoming heavier and more thick.
The next day she washed her hair again in the morning so that she could continue to avoid having greasy hair throughout the day. She received comments from her friends letting her know how shiny her hair looked.
Finally, on the last day of the experiment she did her same morning routine with Wen and stated that her curls fell faster than normal but otherwise her hair looked great. Visit the website wenhaircare.com and follow Wen hair on Twitter to get updates.
