Selling real estate is something that Tammy Mazzocco is passionate about and loves to do. She enjoys helping families find the home of their dreams. When people are purchasing a new house, it is one of the largest financial investments most of them will have every make, and it can be very stressful.
But not so much when they are fortunate enough to have Tammy as their agent. She began her career in real estate as a secretary working for a nine-man commercial real estate group and continued to work in supportive roles for the next ten years or so. During that time she had seen the earning potential of the selling side of the business, so she made a move to real estate sales in 1999.
She joined her friend and mentor, Judy Gang of the Judy Gang Team with RE/MAX in Pickerington, Ohio. Located in the central part of the state, Pickerington and the four counties surrounding is where Tammy plies her trade in the field of residential real estate. More details can be found on her Crunchbase page.
When she first started out, she was too shy to ask people about their finances, which is a prerequisite for determining whether or not a candidate is a prospect or not. People do need to have enough financial ability to put a downpayment on the property and the ability to qualify for a mortgage.
A fellow realtor suggested that she forget about the niceties of the situation and just ask outright, and so she tried it and it worked. She never had that problem again. Tammy credits much of her early success to her peers and fellow real estate agents in helping her get started.
Today, Tammy makes a concerted effort to treat a prospective client in the same manner in which she would like to be treated herself. This is especially true when it comes to their time and finances.
